The Kassel, Germany based company is an independent software vendor and IT consulting company. The company's mission is to make software processes simpler, faster and more reliable through leading-edge technologies and services.
Yatta Solutions provides Eclipse-based tool solutions for dynamic modeling and programming. The next-generation round-trip engineering of the Eclipse based tools suite UML LAB seamlessly combines Eclipse modeling and programming.

Welcome AGETO to the Eclipse Foundation
The Ageto Service GmbH has just recently joined the Eclipse Foundation as a Solution Member.
The Jena, Germany based company provides specialist consulting, software development and support services in the eCommerce, enterprise resource planning and IT security sectors. The Open Source Press has just recently joined the Eclipse Foundation as an Associate Member.
The Munich, Germany based company is a computer book publisher based in Munich, Germany. The company specializes on high-quality publications on topics related to open-source software and philosophy. It was founded in 2003. The cofounded Open Source School uses the broad network of IT professionals Open Source Press has built over the years to offer trainings in the field of unix/linux administration, software development and web development.

Welcome Protos to the Eclipse Foundation
The Protos Software GmbH has just recently joined the Eclipse Foundation as a Solution Member
The Munich, Germany based Protos Software GmbH is a service company that specialized in the development of model-driven, domain-specific tools and applications for Embedded Systems.
We develop tools and applications for our customers and support them with training, consulting and coaching. Most of our projects are based on Eclipse Open Source Tools.
We have been creating tools and applications for the domains of automation, automotive, telecommunication and medical since 1996.
Protos recently started the eTrice Project which is in the Incubation Phase at the moment. The eTrice project will strive to deliver state of the art tooling and target middleware for the model driven development of industry quality event driven real-time software. Emphasis will be laid on the usablity of tooling, produced code and middleware in real industry projects. The initial contribution will be made most likely in November.

Welcome University of Genova - DIST to the Eclipse Foundation
The University of Genova, Italy has just recently joined the Eclipse Foundation as an Associate Member.
For many years has the university's department of Computer, Communication and Systems Science (DIST) in Genova invested in Eclipse related technology and has helped to create a vivid research community in Italy.
Main research interests of the department with its 75 researchers and about 100 PhD students include the e-learning, robotics and automation, artificial intelligence and peer-to-peer technologies.
In many areas of this work the Eclipse platform serves as educational tool as well as supporting the researchers.
We appreciate the membership of the University of Genova and look forward to many joint activities.

Welcome Interactive Objects to the Eclipse Foundation
Interactive Objects (iO) has just recently joined the Eclipse Foundation as a Solution Member.
iO considers itself a leading provider for Eclipse-based solutions for application portfolio modernization and maintenance of legacy systems.
Moreover, it offers MoRE, a solution for model driven modernization. MoRE is implemented on top of the Eclipse platform. iO provides legacy connectors for COBOL, PL/1 and other legacy applications. The abstraction, reduction, navigation and traceability features of MoRE makes of this solution not only the perfect companion for modernization initiatives, but also for extending end-of-life of legacy applications and drastically improving maintenance efforts.

Welcome SBB / CFF / FFS to the Eclipse Foundation
The Swiss Railway SBB has just recently joined the Eclipse Foundation as an Associate Member.
Transporting 327.5 million passengers and 50 million net tons of freight every year the company is by far the biggest travel and transport company in Switzerland.
Having experienced their great services for the time I was living in Switzerland I appreciate very much that this very service oriented organization has become a large consumer of the Eclipse platform and Eclipse related services.
We have seen presentations of their applications on various occasions such as the Eclipse Summit, and we look forward to an even closer relationship with SBB through the newly signed membership.
